Competitor research tool showing rival keywords, Google Ads history and backlinks

SpyFu is a competitor research platform for SEO and Google Ads, made by SpyFu, a company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is used by marketers, agencies and PPC managers who want to see which keywords competitors rank for and buy, and how that has changed over time.

On the SEO side, SpyFu shows the organic keywords a domain ranks for, the backlinks and content behind those rankings, and SERP analysis for individual keywords. On the paid side, it lists the keywords competitors bid on and the ad copy tests they have run, drawing on many years of historical data. Keyword tools group terms in bulk with search volume and cost per click, and rank tracking monitors SEO and PPC positions. An AI site audit checks pages for technical and on-page issues and drafts fixes for review.

SpyFu also offers lead lists filtered by industry and ad spend, branded client reports and an API. A SpyFu GPT brings its data into ChatGPT.
